Aunt Julie’s Salad

Hi Everyone, most recently I visited my aunt, uncle, and cousin in Ojai, California. It is such a beautiful place with houses set way back, forested areas, as well as a no-chain policy on stores and restaurants. This makes everything local and freshly made. My aunt, Julie makes a great salad that I would love to share with you. By the way, there are no measurements on this one because I know everyone has their own preference of amount of each ingredients in a salad.

Aunt Julie’s Salad

  • Spring mix greens
  • Cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • Carrots, thinly sliced
  • Grapes, quartered
  • Avocado (optional)
  • Parmesan cheese, shaved (You can put any cheese in, but this is my favorite)
  • Dressing: You can use any kind but I like to combine olive oil and Trader Joe’s Pomegranate Vinegar.

It is really, truly, good! I hope you enjoy it!

With Love, Sophie
